LEGO Star Wars

We've created many integrated campaigns for LEGO's Star Wars range. More often than not they're good fun to work on, given we're allowed to inject a note of irreverance to proceedings. Traditionally, simplicity works best with these promotions, think up a funny scenario to get kids' imaginations working and drive to a site where kids can play a related game.

Like this one, that garnered some incredible results in terms of competition entries and engagement.  We had to show off the new additions to the toy range - like Jabba, and the new Playsets - like his castle. So, how to do that without resorting to the hard sell? A lovely bit of stop frame using the product itself and a funny idea based on seeing how high you could jump on Jabba's massive, wobbly belly.

More often, LEGO has become a content creator. However, OFCOM rules makes it very hard for this Toy Manufacturer's programmes to air on channels. We helped give coherence to LEGO's latest push, The Yoda Chronicles' by re-editing some of this latest content, and attaching it to the theme of Yoda delivering our viewers 'Lessons in the Force' . We bookended it with Yoda's fun intros and outros and sent kids online to find out more. This innovative solution, created engaging 'mini programmes' - appointments to view, complete with Promos pushing straight to them.
