Sony Pictures
It's always interesting working on Movie releases, playing catch up as the studio's local marketing departments desperately try and 2nd, 3rd or 4th guess which direction to focus on for the release... sometimes taking changes up to the week of release itself. So we approached Sony pictures in LA and suggested they work with us direct. We would create a series of channel IDs for their biggest releases that put their amazing characters slap bang into the middle of engaging narratives within our world... These IDs went out all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa, here's a selection from our two year relationship...
To kick things off in style on Cartoon Network, we dropped the Smurfs off the Empire State Building.

We'll be a bit kinder to them on Boomerang; stick 'em in a cab and take em off to the big city.
For Pirates, we adapted a nautical theme, but did it our way.
For live action movies like Spiderman, the challenge was how to integrate their footage into our environment. We had to stay true to our brand whilst building a genuine narrative. We created a Cartoon Network cityscape and invited our kids to see the world through Spidey's eyes.
If we've got guests from Hotel Transylvania visiting, we'd better make sure our rooms are more suited to their tastes, right, Drac?
Lets try and ensure Santa gets some undisturbed sleep, please guys? He needs it.
The Aliens have invaded! Where are the Men in Black when you need them? Watching Cartoon Network in Poland by the looks of it.
